都市型ビオトープ「再生の杜」におけるエコトーンの経年変化
本研究は2006年に清水建設技術研究所に整備された都市型ビオトープ「再生の杜」における都市の生態系回復の長期実証の一環で、エコトーンの経年変化を明らかにすることを目的とした。15年間の植物モニタリングデータを分析した。その結果、1)陸域では樹林の高木層が形成されつつも草地縮小によりエコトーンが衰退傾向にある一方で、2)水域では、多様な水草類等が継続生育しエコトーンが平衡状態にあることが明らかになった。こうした陸域・水域の変化には管理による攪乱が影響している可能性が示唆された。エコトーンが長期的に効果を発現するには初期のゾーニングに加え攪乱を考慮した植生管理をデザインすることが重要と考えられた。
Vegetation Change of The Saisei-no-Mori Urban Biotope
The purpose of this study is to identified vegetation change of the Saisei-no Mori urban biotope which was constructed in 2006 at Institute of Technology Shimizu Corporation. As results, there have been following two findings; 1) Expansion of forest environment and degradation of grassland have been observed in terrestrial ecotone, 2) aquatic plants environment have stably been maintained in aquatic ecotone. It suggests that vegetation change of ecotone have been affected by disturbance in vegetation. For enhancing biodiversity for long time, in addition to zoning at planning phase, design of vegetation management considering disturbance is essentially important.
